I just don’t know where the time goes.
Here we are again ready for Father Christmas to visit !!!
Ian left the house last Monday at 4am and managed to get back my midnight on Thursday ~ meanwhile I’ve been cleaning and baubling the house ! (with Andrea assisting of course!)
The team at the yard have been busy working the 14 horses we have in various stages of work ~ I generally seem to do horses in the morning, teach and then run around trying to house wife stuff in the evening !!!!
I’m aware that I haven’t posted an informative blog for a while, but I wanted to wish everybody a very Happy Christmas and successful New Year ~ there are exciting things on the horizon for DHI Event Horses in 2012 ~ we look forward to having lots of fun with our horses and watching clients successes
The tree is up, the lights are on and I’ve even managed to clean the silver.
Ian’s parents have arrived for the festive madness we enjoy………….
6am ~ Yard: muck out & feed ~ home, shower
8.30 am ~ Go to my sister & B in law for breakfast and wind up the nephew & nieces !!
10 am ~ Church (I love going to the Christmas service, and it’s very important to me that we go ~ and it’s probably one of the few times that we get together as a family, and remember what its all about, and church is very important to my Mum)
12.30 ~ Back to our house for Champagne, nibbles and MORE PRESSIES !!!!!
3pm ~ Back to Mum & Dads : do the yard & sit down for Christmas dinner ~ phew
We call it a Christmas safari ~ can’t imagine doing it any other way !!!!
THEN we do Boxing Day lunch at our house ~ wish it was Christmas more often, but at the same time ~ I’m glad it’s not !!!!!!
Happy fabulous Christmas ~ got to dash off to read the Christmas story at Keeley’s before Tiffany (18months) gets too stroppy !!)
Hope he comes to your house …………. My santa tracker says 5 hours and 23 mins before he’s here ….. got to dash.
